Riding shotgun with a close relative that was struggling with their health but being told that “there was nothing wrong” lead me to learn organically the underpinnings of multiple health conditions, why they happen and how to help improve them. This knowledge was far different to what a normal general practitioner is taught and has lead me to approach patient’s chronic illnesses in a way that functionally can help most people.

Growing up on the sunny Gold Coast in Queensland, Dr Marek spends his time working or with his family of wife and three dogs.
